We are proud to announce the successfully completed merger of Community West Bancshares and Bank with and into Central Valley Community Bancorp and Bank, effective April 1, 2024. The resulting new Company is assuming the names Community West Bancshares (new NASDAQ symbol: CWBC) and Community West Bank. Stronger together - this strategic merger expands the combined Company's territory from Sacramento in the north, throughout the San Joaquin Valley and west to the Central Coast, resulting in one of the largest community banks headquartered in Central California.

Westamerica Bank, founded in 1980, is a regional community bank with more than 80 offices located throughout Northern and Central California. It provides a variety of financial products and services to individual and business customers that include foreign exchanges, money transfers, cash management, and online banking and bill payment services. The services offered by the bank include alternative investments and account reconciliation and receivable tracking. The payment management services provided by the bank include, cash concentration and tax deposit and payment services. It offers various deposit options to customers that include checking, savings, business, retirement and direct deposit accounts. The bank is a subsidiary of the Westamerica Bancorporation and maintains a location in Kerman, Calif.
