The Marriage Foundation was established by Paul Friedman in 2009 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in the state of California. He brought together concerned individuals and experts who wanted to work towards the reduction of unhappy marriages and divorce. The primary reason is for the sake of children, who are the most impacted by unhappy marriages. Our simple mission is to proactively disseminate scientifically based knowledge of marriage and superlative marriage counseling to all who might benefit, regardless of financial ability. The grand purpose of marriage is to achieve the greatest of all spiritual benefits: unconditional love.
