The Lab

Jacky and Michael Recchiuti wanted to bring a little bit of adventure from their travels to Dogpatch in San Francisco. As homage to this hamlet, they wanted to coalesce the character of this neighborhood with the alchemy of what they do, thus the name theLab. To take it a step further reestablishing the "experimental tasting dinners" from time past ...TheTaste Projects, partnering with culinary compatriots who have like-minded philosophies in creating food that's innovative, daring with humor. This shared passion completes the evolution in finding the right formula of the cozy cafe space of theLab.
