The Imperial Roots was established in November 2014 as a private non-profit association providing medical grade cannabis to qualified California residents under California's Compassionate Use Act of 1996, also known as Proposition 215, and Senate Bill 420. In May 2015, The Imperial Roots became a public non-profit mutual benefit corporation in order to continue providing medical grade cannabis in addition to other quality holistic solutions.
