The HEAL Project started with a school garden at Hatch Elementary in Half Moon Bay, serving six 2nd and 3rd grade classes. Now, The HEAL Project operates two school gardens and a 2-acre farm in El Granada, educating over 4,000 students annually across San Mateo County.
Our hands-on outdoor learning inspires kids' natural curiosity and cultivates environmental awareness in the next generation. The HEAL Project offers lessons on health, environment and agriculture at school sites, in the classroom and at the San Mateo County School Farm.
