The Great American Melodrama & Vaudeville is fun for the whole family! We produce top-notch musicals, comedies, and classic melodramas in a lively cabaret setting at prices affordable for the whole family. And every show is followed by a vaudeville revue full of song, dance, and comedy. You get two shows for the price of one! Located in Oceano, California, just three miles south of Pismo Beach. We first opened our doors in the summer of 1975, and have been operating year round since 1976. Performances at the Melodrama are fun for ages 4 to 104. When guests arrive they're ushered to their seats as live, honky-tonk style piano plays. Our snack bar is open prior to the show and during intermissions. It serves stadium-style fare such as soda, beer, wine, nachos, hot dogs, popcorn, and the like. The snack bar is staffed by the actors performing that night, adding to the lively, interactive feel. ?
