The owner and staff are amazing. Very welcoming with a chill atmosphere. Food is 10/10 and their drink menu is impressive. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

Welcome to The General Sports Bar page! We are Marina's local bar with a wonderfully diverse group of people gathering here. Let us tell you a bit about us and our unique history. We are located on what used to be Fort Ord, and decided to connect with that history. Talking with our local historians we were able to procure the original bar from Stilwell Hall (a beautiful facility that has been lost to time) and refurbish it to be a beautiful focal point again. To express our gratitude for entrusting us with such a historic gem we have partnered with the locals to give back a portion of our sales to the Veteran's Association. This 80 year old bar holds a lot of history and memories of those who have been a part of this community, here's to hoping we create many more! Cheers!
