Classroom: Boasting a strong early childhood approach to learning, we provide a variety of academic mediums that support the commitment we have of teaching Kindergarten readiness skills through play-based learning. Core literacy and mathematic themes are integrated into learning through developmentally appropriate experiences enhanced by children's interests. Writing their name, word recognition, writing letters and words, shape and color recognition, patterning and math concepts are reinforced through exploration and investigation of carefully considered materials. We utilize both our indoor and outdoor classrooms to provide rich and engaging experiences for our children in efforts to support their growth academically, emotionally, and socially. Outdoors: Our preschool is behind the Jewish Synagogue with a garden gated entrance. We enjoy a large and natural playground with trees, paved areas, shade, and space. We have converted our outdoor space into a fully functioning classroom environment consisting of separate interest centers to explore while taking advantage of the numerous gifts of engaging outdoors in the fresh air.
