Dr. April Hoffman, PT, DPT, graduated from the University of Saint Augustine with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2011. She has experience in multiple settings: sports performance, orthopedics, neuromuscular re-education, vestibular, geriatric, nutrition, and fall prevention. She has specialized training in manual techniques including soft tissue and joint mobilizations as well as exercise techniques for musculoskeletal impairments for individuals who experience the following: Neck, thoracic, low back pain, sciatica, and piriformis syndrome, Elbow and shoulder: impingement issues, rotator cuff tears, frozen shoulder, tennis/golfer's elbow Orthopedic surgeries: arthroscopy, total joint replacements, fusions and internal fixations Neurological: post stroke/ CVA/ TIA, Parkinson's, impaired balance, walking difficulties, and arm or leg weakness Vestibular: visual deficits and inner ear dysfunctions affecting coordination and balance with symptoms of vertigo.
