The Dance Store

History

After years teaching dance, it became clear that Santa Barbara needed a store that was exclusively for dance and could offer alternatives for the community to find active wear for all ages and dance basics. Our promise is to offer qualtiy products at a low price. You will find several of our products on the racks and shelves of other boutiques in town for double the price! In addition to the products we offer, we have a list of requirements for local dance studios to get you outfitted for your classes, camps and intensives.

Specialties

From ballerina princesses and students in training to professionals, we are here to serve you with our knowledgeable staff. We carry a variety of dancewear basics including leotards, booty shorts, leggings, and tights, as well as dance shoes for jazz, tap, and ballet. Ballroom and flamenco shoes can be special ordered. We have the perfect starter kit for young dancers including leotards, tutus, tights, and ballet shoes. Dance Team basics are available including booty shorts, undergarments, and jazz shoes. On a budget? We also carry a limited selection of gently used dancewear, costumes, and shoes.
