The Cottonwood

History

Converted after a remodel to vacation rentals, this mid-century building maintains much of it's original character. We got it in 2012 and decided to convert it as a hotel/resort alternative. While most hotels and resorts are large and bustling, our oasis is peaceful and very private. It is available as a compound for families, friends or company retreats.

Specialties

The Cottonwood is a unique Palm Springs getaway. The mid-century building has four units which are freshly refurbished. We have two large one bedroom suites and two studios; each complete with fully furnished kitchens, flat screen TV's with direct TV, free Wi-Fi, and iPod Stations. Each room opens up to the pool area surrounded by desert landscaping with fruit trees and sculpture. Great views of Mt. San Jacinto and the tram from the pool area make this secluded private retreat a peaceful, relaxing experience. Walk one block to the famous Rivera Hotel for evening drinks and live entertainment. We are located just a few minutes away from downtown Palm Springs, shopping areas, restaurants, bars and many fine attractions; we have bicycles on the property ready for our guests.
