Formed in 1946, Coronado Playhouse is a 100 seat cabaret-style theatre with a full-service bar. Based in Coronado, Calif., it provides entertainment with a mix of classic and modern comedies, dramas and mysteries, musicals, Shakespeare and other original works by local authors. Coronado Playhouse also offers dinner and brunch shows, which include complete catered meals along with coffee, champagne and desserts. The theatre also offers several items for sale or rent, such as antique tea carts, plant stands and dining tables, to name a few. Coronado Playhouse partners with Coronado Boathouse Restaurant.

Productions are good. I don't like the casino bar type seating. Cheaper than its LAMB neighbor.
