History

Beginning in1974 as an entrepreneur painting homes in my neighborhood, I was hired by a high-end painting company. I moved from being a crew member to managing the growing firm alongside the owner of the company. I brought my long time managerial skills in & was a working foreperson for 10 years before I left to branch out on my own as a small artisan housepainter & color consultant. Hands-on during the years when oil based painting was still in fashion as a skilled trade, I learned to apply glazed finishes & all things involved in providing excellent finishes to any painted surface. As oil based products began to transition into the now more stable, safer & long lasting water-based finishes, I integrated the newer products into my knowledge base to provide sound & aesthetically beautiful finishes to customers. When strictly providing color advice, I have an innate understanding of the challenges of paint color & lighting - key to any successful project.
