The Clay Underground LLC is a creative studio located in Lower Potrero Hill, San Francisco, dedicated to fostering artistic expression through pottery and ceramics. With a spacious 3,250 square feet of sunlit creative space, the studio features two classrooms, multiple pottery wheels, an extruder, and a slab roller.

Reopening in March 2018, The Clay Underground brings back some of its favorite instructors, including Ryan McCullen, Stephen Ruby, Judy Waitz, and Barbara Vanderbeck, to guide students in their artistic endeavors. The studio aims to encourage individuals of all skill levels to explore their creativity and get hands-on with clay.
