History
The Boatyard is the last of the original boatyard operation in Westside Costa Mesa, and has been family owned and operated by the Iwamoto Family originally from Hawaii. Gil and Wayne are Master Builders of luxury custom catamarans and trimarans, but also assisted in building the plugs for leading production manufacturers such as Ericsson Yachts, Islander Yachts, Columbia Yachts, and Pacific Yachts to name a few.
Specialties
The Boatyard is a historic part of Westside Costa Mesa - it is the last of the original Boatyards in what was once the world Mecca for boatbuilding, and home to Gil's Catamaran where over 100 custom boats have been completed for USCG Charter, recreational, racing and performance uses. Located on nearly an acre we will work with the DIY boatbuilder as well as complete custom build projects.

This is a great place to store your boat when it's not in use. You can rest easy knowing your boat is safe in this gated, and guarded storage facility. Maria the main manager is very easy to work...
