History

Mike and I met in Burbank Ca. and quickly got married. Mike was in farming on the Delta. I wanted to be a stay at home Mom, but we needed extra income. I started making balloon bouquets at home and delivering them in my car, and a year later with a baby in my backpack. Balloons for decorating were still a new concept. Balloon decor consisted mostly of balloons all over the ceiling with long streamers to the floor. There was no internet then, so it was hard to learn from other artist. We use Qualatex brand balloons. Qualatex started a magazine called Images. I learned from, and contributed to this magazine. When the business became profitable, we were in a major car accident. I was in a wheel chair for a long time. Mike had to either keep farming, or work the business full time. He made the choice and here we are 20 years later with five children. We love what we do for a living. Every day we make people smile with a Balloon Creation.

Since 1989 Balloon Creations By Carolyn has served the entire Sacramento area and all surrounding cities. Mike and I started our business in 1989 delivering Balloon Bouquets. Quickly we added Balloon Decorating for every type of personal and corporate event. A few years later we added outdoor advertising balloons, custom Imprinted balloons and helium tank rentals to our selection of services. We have updated our logo and added exciting new services including Face Painting, Glitter Tattoos, Balloon Twisting and Henna.
