This is the most reasonable place in LA. Their pad see ew was only $13. And it was good. I didn't think this bar had a full Thai restaurant menu but they do and you should try it.

Way better than it has a right to be. Looks like a dive bar, which is part charming, part "ugh, more red light," but when you get inside, you get all of the advantages (kitsch! disco balls!)...
