Tenaya's Piano Lessons

History

My grandmother was a classical, jazz and big band piano player and singer, so I grew up around the love for music. She gave me a piano at the age of 5 and I have been composing, playing and performing piano for about 33 years since then. I have been in childcare for most of my life and as a nanny, most of the families I worked for had a piano and wanted lessons for their children. I was then able to start my piano teaching practices through the families I worked and for many of my friends and family that wanted lessons either for themselves or for their children. I have taught many people of all ages and experience levels. Starting with children at the age of 2 years old and my oldest adult student who was 83 years old. Playing has always been my passion and a healthy outlet for me and I love being able to share that with others.
