History
Southbay Teen Challenge is a 12-month recovery program that provides help to those struggling with destructive and abusive lifestyles such as drug and alcohol addiction. With three residential centers in the Bay Area and two in Nevada, we are dedicated to assisting men, women, children, teenagers, and entire families who are on the road to recovery. Teen Challenge teaches people how to regain control of their lives and become productive citizens of our community. This program reaches out to those who would otherwise be living on the streets. Future generations are influenced positively as Teen Challenge makes an impact on the entire family. Teen Challenge is in the business of transforming lives and Teen Challenge Thrift Stores play a key role in the recovery process. In addition to raising funds for our programs, our stores provide students with practical employment skills in customer service, merchandise sorting, pricing, store appearance, and retail counter sales.
Specialties
Teen Challenge Thrift Stores receive gently used items every day. We regularly carry all sorts of clothing for men, women, and children, shoes, accessories, baby and infant items, antique and vintage pieces, furniture, kitchen, bedding, books, and collectibles. Since we are constantly receiving new items every day, it is impossible to keep up - that great deal you're looking for might have just arrived!
