The name Cardic came from combining the first 3 letters of the original owner?s names, Carl Waldeck ( CAR ) and Richard "Dick" Bouck ( DIC ).Richard sold his shares to Carl in August of 1952, making Carl sole owner until December of 1995, when Ken Cooper and Martin Abrahamson took ownership of CMP.
