Taste of the Caribbean LA, led by Chef Bernard James, offers a culinary journey to the West Indies with their modern Caribbean cuisine. With a rich culinary history and diverse flavors, Chef Bernard brings his expertise and passion for authentic Caribbean cuisine to every dish he creates.

Originally from Guyana, Chef Bernard has been immersed in West Indian food and cooking since his childhood, learning the techniques and styles of authentic Caribbean cuisine from his grandmother. With a background as a sous chef aboard Carnival Cruise Line and his own family-owned restaurant in Guyana, Chef Bernard opened Taste of the Caribbean LA in 2014, quickly becoming the only Caribbean restaurant in the heart of Hollywood.
