If you come here only to look at the tar seeping out of the cliffs, then you would be missing out on so much other stuff the area has to offer. I mean, it is cool to see the new shiny tar coming...

Another incredible beach in Carpinteria. Yes, you will get tar on your feet but the beach is clean and the view is awesome. You can't beat beaches in Carpinteria!!!
