Always friendly service here! It's one of my favorite spots in Sonora and I love coming every week. The food is great; best taqueria style burritos and salsa bar in the county.

I order a super burrito bowl. I am keto - so no rice nor beans. It did lack sour cream and avocado - but lots of lettuce, Found the meat at the bottom of the bowl- it was very good seasoned...

Taqueria la Esmeralda is delicious. You have the option of fast food for take out or a nice casual sit down meal. They have seating both indoor and patio. The staff is always friendly and smiling....

Good price on the California burrito special day. I'm glad that there weren't too many fries in it. Clean and tidy, I also enjoyed the salsa bar. I wasn't very impressed by the flan tho
