Taqueria La Barca started off in a tiny taco truck located in the dirt lot in front of what is now the restaurant. The taco truck opened on April 24th, 2007 and only 2 years later was the restaurant built. It has always been Norma Garcia's dream to have her open business and as cooking was her passion and her mindset has always been to prosper to support her two children as a single mother. Now being the owner of the restaurant and two other taco trucks has truly been a dream come true, as she wakes up every morning bright and early to prepare the freshest homemade food you can find in Humboldt County.

We have a very authentic Mexican food. Every item is prep and cook in our location, we have the best chile rellenos and carnitas
