Taquería El Pollo is now El Sabor de Mercedes serving the delicious Mexican food from the taqueria and the new Salvadoran dishes brought to you by sisters Rosie, Iby, and Milly Guardado. Expect delectable pupusas, tamales, sweet fried plantains, and wonderful tacos, burritos, soups, and much more. The sisters grew up in the restaurant industry at Mama Mercedes' restaurant in Chalatenango, El Salvador, then proceeded to work a multiple Mexican and Salvadoran restaurants in the Bay Area, which included their own catering service.
