History

Tangible Investments' roots trace back to 1977, when a young entrepreneur named Silvano DiGenova set up his first trading booth at a national coin convention. In 1986, DiGenova co-founded the Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) and was assigned the task of developing the first grading set. Mr. DiGenova went on to form Tangible Asset Galleries, which became a public company in 1999. He later acquired Superior Galleries in Beverly Hills, which was at the time the largest rare coin auction house in California. After selling Superior Galleries in 2005, Mr. DiGenova moved Tangible to his hometown of Laguna Beach, where we maintain a world-class gallery.
