Tahoe City Public Utility Dist

Founded in 1938, the Tahoe City Public Utility District works under the state of California's Public Utility District Act. The district is responsible for sewer collection, parks facilities and recreation services. It uses property tax, user fees, grants and interest income to provide its services. The district encompasses more than 22 square miles area and serves homes and businesses. The Tahoe City Public Utility District also offers installation services for water meters.
