Worked in family lighting & electrical business from a very young age. Opened the repair business after her father retired in 2001. Her first shop was on San Pablo & then on Hwy 111 untill she moved the business into her nephew's lighting showroom (Desert Lighting) in 2010.

First of all, this is, probably, one of most original retail business names ever! My pair of 25-year-old Crate & Barrel end-table lamps were showing their age. The switches were failing. "Coaxing"...

Susan is amazing and reasonably priced. She provides such a much needed niche service for vintage lighting rewiring.I believe she works alone, so it takes a minute to get your pieces back, but...

*****a fave lamp had its switch inadvertently crushed by a guest -- lamp has been discontinued and difficult to replace -- worth it to have it repaired -- waited awhile cuz figured the entire cord...
