I love history and so this location was super cool. The pink booths, ornate ceiling and lighting, and even an old vault, all appear to be original to the 1920s building. It's very well preserved....

We started in 1929 as a full service dairy with home delivery until 1972. After that it was and still is all about the ice cream...a secret recipe that my grandfather had concocted at UCDavis

We make our ice cream right here on the premises and have done so since 1929! Our portions are huge...our single cone is bigger than most shops triple cone! People love our giant 7 scoop sundae called the SOS(you'll need help to eat it!

Really sucks you can't sit and eat ice cream. This is a popular spot so there was a line, but nothing unbearable. Ice cream comes in huge servings and was pretty good. I suggest trying a flavor...
