It was cheap. And you get what you pay for. Everything is still from the 70s and run down. Wood chipping off cupboards, etc. there is a bit of a bug /mice issue.

I remember when this is where the riff raff lived which made it really cheap for a starving student. My neighbors often loitered and blasted their Mariachi music way too early in the morning...
