Founded in 1971, Sunshine Bicycle Center is a local, independent bike sales & repair shop nestled in Fairfax, the hub of Marin's cycling community. We pride ourselves on our ability to serve every customer's need, from the young child just learning to ride a bike, to the elite racer who needs an experienced mechanic to make sure his ride is race ready. Martin Hansen, Sunshine's owner and staff wrench for 30 years, handles your needs along with our dedicated and well rounded team of cycling experts. Our greatest asset is our staff, many of whom have been with Sunshine for at least 10 years. Among Martin ( owner ), Tony, Erik, Daniel, Nathan, Ryan, Gordon, Lyle, Red, Matt, Skyler, Alec, Emile, Patrick and Luke, we have over 80 combined years of experience working on a wide variety of bikes, and among us a CNC machinist, a Masters of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering, and a Doctor of Chiropractic.
