Sun City Crime Watch is a nonprofit organization that provides crime deterrence and prevention to the area of Sun City, Calif., by offering a patrolling presence to the community. The program is staffed by male and female volunteers who work with the Sheriff s Department of Riverside County, Calif. Volunteers are trained according to the position desired, which can include that of driver or observer. The program offers observation and reporting. Volunteers do not become physically involved in crime prevention. Volunteers also assist in community activities; work with the Sun City Emergency Preparedness Committee, which offers assistance during disasters; and work with the Menifee Valley Graffiti Task Force by reporting graffiti sightings.

This great group of volunteers does and exceptionally good job of patrolling all areas of Sun City, CA. I work at a near by supermarket & often see them in our parking lot. When im taking walks...
