History

Mark and Cindy Holechek, former creators and owners of several successful Orange County restaurants, The Cabana (Laguna Beach) The Bungalow (Corona del Mar), Waters Restaurant (Irvine), The Trocadero (irvine) and Woody's Wharf (Newport Beach) were excited to take over this great location because they knew that this small, yet quaint spot could be transformed into a casual and lively beach house and feature their favorite menu items. The full liquor license that came with the location makes this the perfect spot to relax, enjoy a cocktail and a delicious meal.

Specialties

The Summer House specializes in casual American food with a tropical twist. Appetizers include Ahi Poke, Fondue Grill Sticks, Kung Pao Calamari, Potstickers, Spinach Artichoke Dip. Fresh Salads include Grilled Chicken Summer Salad, California Cobb, Seared Ahi & Wontons, Cabana Salad, & The Wedge. Handcrafted Burgers and Sandwiches are all served on home baked buns and are served with fries. Burgers and Sandwiches available include 1/2 lb. Cheeseburger, Bacon Avocado Burger, Brie Burger, Black and Bleu Burger, Pesto Chicken Sandwich, Ahi Sandwich and Chicken Club Sandwich. Summer House Favorites include Macadamia Nut Mahi Mahi, Salmon with Teriyaki Glaze, Beachside BBQ Ribs, Grilled Island Chicken and Grilled Flank Steak. Some of our Refreshing Cocktails include Skinny Margaritas, MaiTais, Mojitos & Icy Summers. Full Liquor, Wine and Beer available. Everything is fresh and delicious!
