Studio Iqaat, a Moroccan Arabic-themed studio in Los Angeles, was a hub for North African, Arabic, and Middle Eastern percussion from 1999 to 2017. Their mission was to combine the rhythms of Arabia and West Asia, educate about the musical culture of the Middle East and North Africa, and promote Arabic and Near Eastern music and culture in Los Angeles through events and classes.
