History
The Stockton Heat are the official American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL's Calgary Flames. On January 29, 2015, Flames General Manager Brad Treliving announced that the Flames would move their AHL affiliate from New York and place it in Stockton, California as one of the five announced teams to begin play as part of the Pacific Division in the AHL during the 2015-16 season. Meanwhile the ECHL franchise that had been in Stockton since 2005, the Stockton Thunder, would move to Glens Falls, NY.

Another great night at the Stockton Heat Hockey game! We sat in the McDonald Rink Side Suite. I could not be more pleased! Great view of the game and very worth what we paid. Perfect for small groups.

Minor league hockey at its finest! Seats are very affordable and it's pretty good hockey. The arena is easy to get in and out of. It's rarely sold out so you can walk up and buy tickets. 4 seats...
