History
Stix & Stones was established in 2002 in Truckee, CA. Jake Otsuka and his family relocated back to the East Bay in 2005. Jake has worked on bikes for over 12 years and has extensive experience and knowledge on mountain bikes, road bikes, and cyclocross bikes. After managing bike shops for nearly 5 years, Jake realized that having a bicycle repaired or serviced is extremely inconvenient. The average person spends 1 hour loading a bike, driving the bike to the shop, and dropping the bike off. That same person spends ANOTHER hour picking the bike up. Jake's goal with Stix & Stones is to make repairing and servicing your bike much easier and time efficient.
