History

Founding Attorney Steven Cohn began his legal career in the California Dept. of Justice, serving in Consumer Protection, later being awarded the State Bar's Wiley Manuel Pro Bono Award for the provision of outstanding free legal services for the public good. The Advocacy Center was founded in 1994 by Steven Paul Cohn, who serves as senior litigation counsel. Mr. Cohn has been practicing law since 1980 in the Silicon Valley, with offices in San Jose.The firm continues to specialize in the areas of labor and employment law, with an emphasis on employment harassment and discrimination litigation.
