She completed two residencies: one in internal medicine at Yerevan State Medical University in Armenia and one in family medicine at Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital in Whittier, California. She also completed a fellowship at the Central Institute of Advanced Training of Doctors in Moscow. Dr. Shakhnovits is passionate about medicine and that she is a good listener, calm, and very patient.
