Stephanie Hamilton Designs

History

Stephanie produces beautiful jewelry in her studio outside of San Francisco. Most of her work is created while watching the waves of the Pacific Ocean. Her love of knitting began with a wonderful group of knitters in 2000. After becoming inspired by Ruth Asawa's work at the DeYoung Musuem, Stephanie changed her medium from yarn to metal.

Stephanie Hamilton creates personal and elegant wearable art by knitting metal with semi-precious stones, shells, pearls and other natural materials. Each piece is unique, just like the wearer. Working with an individual buyer, she also designs one of a kind commissioned pieces for the perfect occasion or present.
