Steltzner Vineyards
Steltzner Vineyards, located in the heart of Napa Valley, has a rich history dating back to 1964 when Richard Steltzner discovered an old prune ranch and began cultivating Cabernet Sauvignon, inspired by the exceptional wines of neighbors like Nathan Fay. Over the years, the vineyard has contributed grapes to some of the most iconic wines in the region, including the celebrated 1972 Clos Du Val Cabernet Sauvignon, which gained fame in the Judgment of Paris.
The vineyard is dedicated to creating authentic wines that reflect the unique terroir of the Stags Leap District, shaped by the area's soil, climate, and culture. With over 50 years of experience, Steltzner Vineyards invites wine enthusiasts to explore their vibrant, terroir-driven wines made with persistence, curiosity, and a pioneering spirit.
