Steinway Society

The Steinway Society of the Bay Area is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting excellence in piano performance and music education throughout the Bay Area. Celebrating its twentieth season, the Society brings world-class, internationally recognized pianists to the Peninsula and South Bay while also arranging intimate in-home recitals reminiscent of traditional salon concerts.

Founded in 1994 by a group of passionate music lovers, the Society has sponsored performances by numerous distinguished international pianists, including several medalists from the International Van Cliburn Piano Competition. In addition to showcasing acclaimed artists, the Steinway Society actively contributes to music education for young musicians in the community.
