History
Steep opened for business in May of 2015. With a passion for coffee, tea, and crystals, owners Jes Sloan and Mike Fenton worked together to establish a peaceful bright space in their small hometown. Sourcing as local as possible, they strive to showcase the wonderful coffee, tea, chocolate, honey, ice cream and even jewelry that Mendocino and northern Sonoma counties have to offer.

STEEP is a coffee and tea house in Hopland CA, and is the only independent coffee shop directly on the 101 from San Francisco to Willits. We proudly serve organic coffee and teas, as well as locally baked goods made with organic ingredients. We are happy to make you a specialty latte or serve you a nice cup of brewed coffee. We do pour overs and also offer a great cold brew.

Great stopover in Hopland when you need a caffeine boost and a treat. My espresso was fine and the cookie was oh so delightful. Reasonably priced. Lots of crystals for sale. Friendly, eclectic...

Traveling up north on the 101 you get to Hopland do you stop at the gas station for burnt coffee and stale donuts... or do you do yourself a solid and drive or walk a half block to a fantastic...

Stopped by on our way north, interesting shop, great location. I had a local honey latte, she had the house made chai. they came out quick less than a minute on each was suprised. Yet at $7.00...
