Steelhead Cinema

History

Steelhead Cinema is a collaborative effort between two friends that share a genuine love for people and their stories. Before Steelhead was born, our love for film-making could only be a hobby alongside our full-time desk jobs. We were trapped with too much creativity and not enough time spent meeting new people. After a while, the passion to tell stories, be creative, and capture powerful imagery became too much to handle. In 2014 we quit our jobs and founded Steelhead Cinema. Shooting weddings is just as fulfilling as when we first started, and continues to be driven by our love for film-making. The emotions that can be conveyed when moving picture, music, and narrative are combined is what gets us excited with each new film. We are based on the Central Coast of California, in a town called San Luis Obispo. We travel regularly throughout the western US, but anywhere else is just a flight away.
