Stanbridge Academy

The Stanbridge Academy provides educational services to students in kindergarten through grade 12. The school serves students suffering from dyslexia, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and Asperger's syndrome. It maintains a staff of certified teachers that offers educational classes in arts, science, physical education, Spanish, English, history, reading, writing, social studies and math. Stanbridge Academy s special education department provides speech, language, hearing, vision, physical and occupational therapies to students with learning disabilities. It operates the Stanbridge Parent Association, which is a voluntary organization that provides community building and parental participation opportunities. The school manages the Student Learning Center, which offers homework assistance and tutoring services for students in kindergarten through grade eight. Located in San Mateo, Calif., Stanbridge Academy is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
