St. Stanislaus Golf Course

History

St. Stanislaus Golf Course is a challenging 9-hole course that has been servicing the Modesto area since 1994. The course, designed by Robert Muir Graves, who has also designed courses such as Palo Alto Hills Golf and Country Club & Quail Lodge Resort and Golf Club, includes nine par-3's, with the longest hole measuring 301 yards. With a total yardage of 1,533 yards, this par-27 course can be played and enjoyed by golfers only just learning the game to more highly developed and skilled golfers. It has a slope of 70 and a rating of 56.0. Mike Sanny, Jerry Snodgrass, and Scott Beaton hold the course record with a 2-under 25. St. Stans also has one of the biggest driving ranges on the west coast; it includes a putting and chipping area as well.
