Founded in 1953, St. Nicholas School is a Catholic learning center that enrolls students in kindergarten through grade eight. It teaches a variety of academic subjects, including language arts, history, mathematics, science and social studies. St. Nicholas School also offers classes in music, physical education, technological communication and foreign languages. The school provides religion education and conducts field trips for nature studies. It operates a student council, band and performin arts club. St. Nicholas School employs a staff of a learning specialist, campus minister, school counselor, instructional aides, administrators and more than 35 professional educators. The school is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and the Western Catholic Education Association.
