St. Joseph's Hill Open Space Preserve

Sierra Azul Preserve, managed by Midpen, encompasses more than 19,000 acres of rugged wilderness in the Santa Cruz Mountains, featuring 26 miles of multiuse trails for hiking, biking, dog walking, and horseback riding. The preserve showcases diverse landscapes, including rocky chaparral, oak woodlands, and serpentine grasslands, while providing habitat for various wildlife, including mountain lions, deer, and bobcats.
