Established in 1961, St. John the Evangelist Catholic School is a coeducational institution that serves students in transitional kindergarten through grade eight. Its academic curriculum includes subjects, such as English, literature, social studies, science, math and religion. The school operates a drama club, students council, and physical science and psychology departments. St. John the Evangelist Catholic School promotes students participation in basketball, football, baseball, volleyball, softball, scouting, and track and field. In addition, it operates a parent club that that helps in organizing fundraising events. The school hosts trade shows for various items.
