Control systems for products range from manual to automatic, to completely computer controlled. In 2001, the company moved into a computer-controlled regeneration plant in Placentia, CA. Cal Water customers include pharmaceutical houses, cosmetic formulators, aerospace prime contractors, semiconductor manufacturers, bio labs, metal finishers, used car dealers, orchid growers, hospitals and dry cleaners.
