When the current owners bought the property in 2003 however, they initiated the highly successful management program we have now. Santa Margarita Ranch works with Texas Parks & Wildlife biologists and consultants to conduct surveys every year that determine the harvest quota for each hunting season. The ranch's Level 3 MLD Permit issued from Texas Parks & Wildlife allows our clients unlimited tags for both does and bucks and extended season dates. Every year our whitetail hunters take a number of management bucks and mature trophies. No matter what type of deer you are interested in, our goal is that you experience whitetail hunting at its best and a memorable experience of South Texas Golden Triangle
